My name is Chelsea Schumann and I am a Strategic Communications major at Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes! Graduation is finally upon me and I am actively seeking a job in advertising. The world of advertising is constantly evolving and I like to think that I am too, which is why we make a great pair. I am passionate and devoted to my studies, my work, and to everything and everyone in my life.

When I am not logging hours at the library or being a professional server, you can find me doing a variety of things. Such as:

I would use the expression, “having my nose in a book” but with technology providing more opportunities to read, it just wouldn’t be accurate. However, I will admit that I have a Stillwater Public Library card and it was the best decision I could have made. I love reading. Whether it is on the New York Times Bestsellers list, a biography, a blog post, a news article, or Harry Potter for the infinite time, I enjoy spending hours being engaged and using my imagination.

Speaking of Harry Potter…if we ever get the chance to have a conversation and H.P. just “happens” to slip up, be prepared to learn everything and anything about the series. Don’t worry it will be magical. I can quote any movie, reference any book, and tell you Dumbledore’s full name without hesitation. I have embraced my inner nerd and I am not ashamed to share it with the world. #ALWAYS

There is nothing more joyful than the sound of laughter. If you tell me I am funny then you have given me the best compliment. Add a pizza into the mix and I might just self-combust. Inspiration can come in the simplest form and be turned into something amazing. I admire small gestures, gorgeous weather, great logos, and all things lovely.

I encourage you to explore my work and check out my resume!
